Firewire Quadfish

Manufacturer Description
With the recent success of the Quadraflex Series, we've introduced the QUADFISH with the same retro inspired outline of the Fishtail and a 4-fin set up. In the process, we've created a performance hybrid with tighter arcs and the same drive, holding power and flat out speed of the Fishtail keel fins.

This is in reference to the retro foil Quadfish (they also have a high performance foil). Well, do not confuse this retro style looking board with its stiff non-responsive cousins. This board flat out rips. It catches waves and paddles like a longboard, but is very responsive. The main reasons being it is really flat while trimming and paddling into waves, but once you are up, the flex characteristics kick in. You can feel it with every turn. The closest thing (not exact) that I can relate it to is camber on a snowboard and how that rebounds you in and out of turns. My favorite feeling on this board is digging into a good bottom turn right into a nice top turn or hack. It really just shoots you into the lip. I would recommend this board in an instant.
