Cant seen to find the right entry spot on the board. To far up nose dives, to far back can catch the wave.

I'm looking at a paragon retro fish, it's cheap and so am I. I prefer longboards but want something different but still not much work. I surf calm, and have no desire to do tricks. Thanks for your time.
