This board is great for waist to shoulder high waves.

I love this board.

This board makes it really easy to get into boards a bit earlier.

Could use a little more speed on the wave, earlier entry, and a bit more stability/forgivingness

Easy to paddle and pretty forgiving on take off. A little unresponsive.

My first brand-new board, had it for over a year now and at 6'2" it handles all conditions in Nova Scotia. Lacks a bit in the way of speed, but feels super stable and allows for crisp turns.

It's a fun board, a little stiff. I have 2 others, but I want to get a 5'8" or 5'10" rusty redline. Hoping you could help me decide which one to get, i am 5'6 and 145 lb.

I am not sure why this board gets so much great press. Not a great all around NE board. So many better options. Dosn't get you in earlier. Manueverabilty fine but not earth shattering.

It seems to be very slow on mushy waves, even though it has 27 liters of volume which is apparently too much for me.

I bought my flyer a few years ago, and loved riding it. Since then I have gotten better, gained muscle, and surfed more often. It's a 6'4 and it seems too big for most days of surfing in NJ.

Im a short and stocky guy. 5'8 and currently weigh 200 lbs. I can fluctuate 185 to 210. I like to surf fast and do power turns. I'm heavy on my front foot. I mostly surf huntington beach and trestles.

Good paddler, stable....lacks speed - this is the biggest sticking point with this board. Good all rounder, but there are better boards out there...
