Manufacturer Description
Possibly the most versatile surfboard in the Firewire quiver, the Dominator mixes a full outline with a thicker foil running from nose to tail. Firewire moved the wide point back to reduce nose profile, preserving the Dominator’s speed but without the top turn deficiencies seen from most retro noses shapes. The Future Shapes Technology lends its flex characteristics and light weight, helping this surfboard paddle like its super charged. Take Charge!

This board is superfast and loose, the only weakness in this board is performance in mushy surf,

It is not the actual Dominator - it is the spitfire, which has step down rails on the tail.

Extremely versatile: Unbelievable maneuverability as quad in small stuff. Can handle size with 3 or 5-fin set ups. Sucks up waves like a hog. One board unlocks many waves.

Got a 5 '10 Dominator which I love in small (up to shoulder high) clean waves. No good when it gets bigger though, especially when choppy. Feels impossible to get a rail.

I'm 5'10 190lbs and ride a 6'6 Dominator. Super fast and fun. with the high volume, it's perfect for the stockier guys who can't surf everyday anymore because it paddles like a longboard but you can still toss it around like a performance board. Score of 4 for manuevarability because it is a little "floaty" and harder to bury a rail but it's worth the sacrifice for catching more waves and still being able to rip them. Can definitely handle knee-high to slighty overhead surf no problem. Love it!
