Lost Rocket

Manufacturer Description
The Rocket by Lost is a runaway success! The most positive reaction to a new model since the original Round Nose Fish! Originally shaped as a 5'3" for Shane’s young son Noah by former ...Lost shaper and pro surfer Noah Budroe. The board features a wide forward outline with round forgiving rails, flat deck and a wide “rocket” tail. The rocker is extremely low in the entry, for instant speed, with an exaggerated kick in the tail for tight arcs out of turns. This board actually has as much tail rocker as any board in our line. Coupled with a deep concave throughout, via a straightened stringer line, the board is a small to average wave all-rounder that can be effectively ridden 4" to 8" shorter, 1/8" thinner, and just slightly wider than your normal short board without sacrificing any of the carve or drive. This thing has to be ridden to be believed... Now available with new, Aaron Cormican inspired, “Grocket” winged mini-swallow tail. This tail increases control for lighter snappier surfers and also lends itself well to surfers who prefer to ride the board a bit longer (2-4" shorter than their normal boards) as it shortens the rail line and turning arc. See Gorkin putting his “Grocket” through the rounds in his “Holiday in Cabodia” section of 5'5" x 19 ¼" REDUX.

i got two smaller /medium wave boards: this and the dwart. I found that in the smallest surf the dwart was better because of its thickness but in all other conditions this board was way better. It paddles well and turns amazingly, LOVE this board. Helps me get into the waves and still turns well.

hype is real. Great little step-up from a round nose fish. Paddles easy in small waves, it's fast and turns well (V2 should be even better). Only thing I gotta get used to is the nose isn't that wide, so nose riding the very last bit of those weak knee high waves takes more concentration.

I'm older and thinking of changing to a fish style board, still munuverable and fast enough for head high Nicaragua waves

Too much float under front foot. When tired I do wheelies. Am 56 yrs old and great shape and would like to keep surfing a board I can duckdive.

Great all around board for average conditions. If you are not sure what board to ride on any given day, this will do the trick. Super stable and can generate speed.

I like everything about the rocket except when the waves start getting above 4ft it becomes harder to paddle into the waves.

Great board I scored it down on paddling because I rode it as small as I could. What suprised me about this board was it was great in chest high and under waves mushy or hollow. Holds a great line in the barrel

I have been surfing off and on for almost 20 years. About the past 10 have been on longboard surfing a few times a year. Last year I moved down to a 6'1" Rocket. I've been able to surf more but not nearly enough. Like, once every few weeks during spring/summer/fall. It is proving hard to stand up consistently and actually ride the wave. I get up some of the time, others I halfway get up with my feet all wrong. Maybe I just need more time in the water.

This board is awesome though to get full spectrum of rocket design go for the Squish-Et. Rode both got a 5'8" in Marko love that thing. It's my DD even more than Tri-RNF with a squish tail it makes that drifty feel from bat tail disappear with control in snaps and turns. Go for Squish-Et so surprised more people didn't ride this.
