A design driven by the need of competitive surfers to operate with a wide manoeuvre repertoire. Sunova Team Riders claimed that they were “totally blowing up on this board” so we named it the Nitro.
Generous curve through the middle of the planshape and a low rail designed for release. This combination gives the Nitro the ability to generate speed from the moment you stand up.
The Nitro has the wide point pulled back and a long nose entry so you can react spontaneously to split-second situations.
The thin tail and a flat bottom exiting the tail rocker make this board fly across dead sections. Loaded hard into the bowl under the lip, the flexing tail will fit tight and deep under a bowling lip then the rail springback acts like a slingshot as you are exploded into the next turn.
