One of the funnest boards I've ever had. Took a 6'4" to indo & loved it. Was thinking of finding another one to take to bali. I don't understand how this board works so well for this front footed surfer since there isn't much nose volume.

I have been surfing for about a year now and I learned on the CI board. I'm looking to sharpen my manuvering. I don't have a problem standing, turning, or catching waves but the CI Board I think is to big for my size. The board is a 6'5", 19", 2 1/4" round tail and has G5 FCS Fins. I have tried other boards that are smaller ranging from a Wave Weapons (local Oceanside, CA company) which was 6'2" swallow tail, quad setup and also my buddies 6' Webber smash tail that was 18 1/4 wide and 2 1/4 thick. Both the Webber and the Wave Weapons were easier for me to move on but the Webber I think is made for bigger surf because that's when I'm able to push it harder. The Wave Weapons one has a wide front end which seems to work better in smaller, mushier surf but becomes unstable on surf around shoudler to head high. I'm looking for a board that I can push hard in knee to head high but that is still stable enough to ride when I'm not as confident in the larger surf. I know I wrote a book but any advice is greatly appreciated.
