When the waves supply all the juice you need, the board just needs to flow with it and feel like a regular short board does in small waves. Derived from the original Tomamhawk, The Tomahawk Round Pin is a step up board for overhead waves. The outline is pulled in, it has shallower concaves, lower entry for paddling, extra tail kick, and a little vee under the back fin. This board is the result of the need to ride a bit longer board without sacrificing maneuverablilty. In California, the peak might be big, but you're lucky if the wave is shoulder high when you're kicking out. So a stiff longer board that might loosen up un Hawaiian juice just doesn't work in Cali. We need a step-up board we can turn, and the TRP fits the bill perfectly. We get 100% rave reviews.
