Great all round board. Had one for four years now. Fast and turns well in good sized point surf and handles little stuff very well. My son who's 14 has used it as a mal for the last four years as well. If it duck dived better it would be perfect.

I Have a 7'6" rounded pin carver for the last 4 years out of 30yrs surfing =(I have 15 boards all from OZ). The Mctavish carver is the Best all rounder for mature surfers @ 2-5' beachy's & lighter reef takeoffs. Just Try one guys, find the sweet spot between the front fins and go for it... PS: also Good glass jobs. PSS. Thanks Bob, you've given me great moments of happiness. PSSS. Im not related or benefit other than pure appreciation of surfing. Cheers birdman
